We overhauled the information architecture, elevated real customer stories, and brought it all to life through a bright and fresh visual design.
To help Lap-Band soft launch the new brand direction, we took a two-part approach. An immersive landing page was delivered first. This page helped Lap-Band rally internal and external stakeholders around the brand’s new look, feel, and messaging.
Building on deeper user and stakeholder research, the full website redesign further pushed the brand. Every design and content decision anchored on one guiding principle: joy.
Lap-Band wanted an excessively clear path to conversion. We drastically streamlined the website’s information architecture. The primary navigation speaks to each stage of the Lap-Band journey, and journey-specific calls to action drive visitors to take the right action, at the right time.
Lap-Band’s community is essential to prospective patient decision making, as well as long-term wellness. The new website elevates the lives that Lap-Band changes through real patient stories and photography.
With a new look and new messaging that is warm and hopeful instead of impersonal and clinical, the new Lap-Band website appeals directly to patients to arm them with knowledge and support. Our partnership with Lap-Band pushed us to rethink the patient experience from the ground up, designing a patient’s journey to joy.
